The power of prayer is wonderful because you never know how your blessings will
come. My prayer was to find someone that would be able to put my words in
picture form. A number of years later, Duane saw some of my poems and said that
we should get together. Once we saw his pictures and my poems together, it was
amazing.
We know that people go through many changes in their lives. We want people to
see and understand the struggle and the frustration in life, but also know that
there is a way out of the situation. They should know that each day gives
another opportunity to get it right. Finally, we want people to know that they
have a choice in what their lives become and it is not always dictated by
someone else.
People may often wonder how our paths crossed and I am not sure what Duane's
prayers have been, but we both felt that we needed each other to make this
project work. I am sure of one thing, however, prayer has paved the way. And
with that, we have to step our way and let things work.
We would like to thank our families for their support and allowing us to chase
our dream.
WE ARE WHAT WE CHOOSE TO BECOME.
